Delay in release of the Movie “UV”

download (19)Kamal Hassan’s most-anticipated film has been in news for sometime. The latest is that the quandary surrounding film’s release date. Although actor Kamal Haasan, director Ramesh Aravind and producer C Kalyan planned to release the film on April 10 initially, it was deferred to an unofficial date of April 17. As per the available information at the moment, even the film is not expected to meet this deadline and may be slated for either April 24 or May 1.

While there are several reasons in circulation for the uncertainty on film’s release, we hear that Uttam Villain is being delayed due to the non-completion of graphic works. Kamal is apparently keen on the quality of graphics output and determined to make the film vibrant and visually bright. So, Kamal insisted the VFX team to take time but asked not to compromise on the quality. This is said to be the reason behind the delay in film’s release. According to the latest update, this film will hit the theaters on April 17th, 2015. Gibran scored the music and the album is receiving huge response from the audiences.
Ramesh Aravind is the director of this movie. Uthama Villain features Kamal Haasan, Andrea, Pooja Kumar, K Balachander, Dr K Viswanath, Naasar, Parvathy, Kayaram and many others.
Kamal Haasan essays the dual role and he will be seen in the role of a 13th century drama artist and as a 21st century superstar. Uthama Villain is touted to be a message-oriented comedy movie.Reports say that nearly 25 visual effects need to be completed. So, makers are supposedly looking to release the film by April 24 or May 1. Looks like Ramesh Aravind and his dear friend Kamal Haasan are more keen on quality than a rushed release.

Uthama Villain also stars Urvashi, K Balachander and Gauthami in significant roles. “Kamal sir has requested Madhu not to rush. He said he doesn’t mind waiting for two more weeks but doesn’t want to compromise on the output,” the source said.Considering that the film is the last film of veteran filmmaker-actor K. Balachander who played vital role, expectations are way too high. Due to uncertainty in Uttam Villain’s release, several small Telugu films are going back and forth in their releases.
