The Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today expressed ‘sadness’ on the Power Minister Jagdeesh Reddy episode. Stating that the Congress member G Chinna Reddy spoke true on the backwardness of the Mahabub Nagar, the Chief Minister said that there was nothing wrong in the question of Chinna Reddy. He said that the Government has specially concentrated on pending projects in Mahabub Nagar district and they will be completed very soon. Making it clear that the Government has taken up 6800 MW thermal project at Damaracharla in Nalgonda district, the Chief Minister reminded that several Congress members went to jail during Telangana Movement. Thanking the Opposition leader K Jana Reddy for his suggestions in the House, KCR said that he enquired about what happened in the House. He further said that it was not proper on the part of the Minister to speak like that and added that people outside the House showering praises on the way the Telangana House is running.
Meanwhile, Minister Jagadeesh Reddy said that when KCR complained about how the AP government was not giving Telangana its share of electricity, Revanth Reddy had spoken in favour of the Andhra Pradesh government after showing a sheet of paper. The paper and the statistics were fake the minister alleged.
He demanded that Revanth must either submit the paper to the House or render an apology
